  9. And so it continues: .SYNOPSIS... -- Changed Discussion -- * Cooler than average holiday weekend with brisk breezes and spotty showers giving way to more sunshine and marginally warmer temperatures by Memorial Day * Periods of rain return from later Tuesday through the end of next week; Wednesday looks like the coolest day * Although temperatures will gradually moderate into the end of May, there are no signs of a substantial summertime warmup as the calendar flips to June -- End Changed Discussion --
  10. My low also was 41 at some point overnight.
  11. Very unpleasant holiday weekend at the coast. No rain but too cool & windy.
  12. Low of 47. Pretty good for May 24.
  13. Going to feel even colder then yesterday morning on the beach. Winds are significantly stronger.
  14. 46 now, but sometime after midnight I dipped down to 41.
  15. 49 degrees this morning. A few rain showers yesterday. Heading up to Penn State today to watch my granddaughters volleyball tournament. She has been traveling up there to play volleyball for the last 7 months . Better competition and learning up there. She is a true high school freshman, They have turned her into the kill shot person on the team.
  16. The wizards got hungry over advanced analytics, too. Some of the formulas in “Basketball on Paper” are wild (if you want to have fun, look up “individual offensive player rating”). I get it, it all comes down to points per possession, 3 > 2, a 3 = bucket and a free throw, etc etc, but you gotta put the right talent in place to implement some of these sabermetrics. Not to mention, advanced analytics are descriptive, not formulas that explicitly tell you how to win. Fun and interesting topic, but it can get overused.
  17. Yeah..this was an ugly miss for sure And glad you moved. I wouldn't want you anywhere in my vicinity. You're garbage
  18. That May 1967 event was epic. 10" of snow Monadnock regions. MWN 24.9" for a record May snowfall. Minor accums into central MA w/ the latest on record flakes in the air many locations, at least going back 60 years. Winds gust as high as 90 mph on the coast and ACK had over 7" of rain. May 1967 among the coldest Mays on record for the NE. BOS was -7 F for the month.
  19. More fun with timelapsing my Arnett/southern Kansas footage from last Sunday:
  20. At least CoastalWx gets this consolation "prize!" Very impressive event synoptically. I'll post later on it in more details.
  21. So Scott, did it rain so hard in Weymouth like that time when you lived in Dorchester you were concerned about house flooding?
