  1. Past hour
  2. Pretty impressive radar depiction out there. That's one heck of a rain train headed towards the lower shore. Someone down there will see a lot of flooding rain tonight. I'd estimate almost .75 has fallen here so far. It's pouring again as I type. Looks like everyone's getting in on the rain.
  3. Looks like to me the coastal low has moved father north than forecast nice bands rotating in from the east
  4. About 0.25” so far. Good start.
  5. .78” in the bucket so far
  6. Whoa the Norfolk/VA Beach area is taking a beating. FFW for up to 7 inches fallen with up to 3 more to come with winds gusting over 45. Radarscope there looks like a tropical storm made landfall
  7. OCMD webcams have some cool views right now.... https://oceancitylive.com/ocean-city-webcams/ocean-city-boardwalk-shark-eye-cam/
  8. MEX has 19F at SLK this weekend. lol
  9. 0.39” here welcome surprise
  10. Was September 1881 the month that NYC had its first and also latest 100+ degree temperature on record?
  11. About .18” from the first round. Not a bad start since the forecast earlier today wasn’t calling for rain. More, please.
  12. Today

  14. We did some things! CC: @wxmeddler
  15. Thought we would get something off that stiff pushing up from the SW. But the shield held strong and it disappeared. Watching that stuff moving East out of Baltimore to impede the shield hopefully.
  16. 0.47” and climbing. Meanwhile it is down to 59 for the low on the day.
  17. Hardly anything here and might head out in a bit, but radar looks good for a shower or two even in the Frederick precipitation force shield.
  18. The difference is the crysophere can still be in place in large swaths of Canada in April whereas it's nowhere to be found in mid September unless you're on the Arctic Ocean.
  19. Joe Bastardi is arguing that the current nor'easter that has dumped more than 3" of rain at Norfolk over the past two days with gusts of 50 mph should be counted as a tropical cyclone: The flaw in his reasoning is that the system has fronts. Thus, it is not a tropical cyclone.
  20. Missed here in 21057... just a little drizzle here and there today. .03 in the gauge.
