Been up at the cabin all weekend. Been perfect weather up here. Some storms came through a few hours ago and now it's cooled off and definitely feels like fall. I see on the radar some big storms coming through home back in Calvert. Need the rain there. I've noticed up here on the mountain since this spring that all the foliage has these tears in it that don't look like insect damage. I wonder if there was hail this spring that damaged the leaves when they were still young? It's on all the trees all over so it doesn't seem specific to any one type of tree. Has made the trees look ratty all summer. Looking forward to figuring up the wood stove soon. Did homemade pizza in the AGA oven that was very good.

Had a few showers. Enough to wet the grass but less than .10"

Had some thunder when it blew up a little over Plainview. But maybe two drops here.

I was on Cape Cod this week and the water bans are being enforced. Town of Falmouth is following people’s water meter readings and actively driving around looking for green lawns and watering going on.

Lots of half-dead cruddy foliage down here, but foliage nonetheless. Looks like we're headed not just for BN for the end of August, but some nor'easter-type storms as well. Tough runs for the AWATT crew.

They are quite good - coming here for trivia Sunday nights and it is a good time

Holy god this storm up in fallston/bel air is rather epic.

Took a road trip south for something to do today. Went down to @backedgeapproaching’s neighborhood and drove up to the top of Equinox. It was hazy and about 75° when we were up top. Looped down through Bennington and Woodford then back up 100. Ran into some rain on the way home. It’s really needed, lots of stressed trees starting to turn colors.

Yea the thunder is extremely loud.

I hear the cell on Nassau Suffolk border. It’s extremely loud. Won’t make it here though. Missed by a couple miles
