Me either. The only downside to this winter wonderland is that any outdoor sports are put on hold indefinitely. My son plays tennis and we usually practice when the temps are at least 40F+. But it's been over a week of subfreezing temps and all the outdoor courts are covered with snowcrete until April it seems.

My station is up to 34.

The sun is getting a little stronger which helps. Might be a little warmer tomorrow. Streak is over for Boston and Hartford too.

Well now we can lock in an early Morch with “moregarbage” on the cold and snow train.

Definitely highly skeptical of the current projections beyond the 7 day period with a supposed PV stretch (some are calling it a SSW event, but that's such an overused term and not really accurate) happening... -
Yeah I'm just cranky because my back hurts. The worst was getting home to a frozen hot water pipe to the kitchen. Sitting in the sun with the car windows open isn't so terrible though It better not get over 32 though, I like setting records.

36 here. Temps overperforming a little bit. The models in the long range look mild for mid February. Quite a change. I think most people will welcome a warmer period after the very cold December, January and first third of February. I do want to see another snowstorm though, so hopefully winter will come back for later February or early March.

NO NHL in February this year- the olympics. Not a fan of the NBA regular season. If we can get to mid March we are solid- March Madness, Baseball, Masters, NHL and NBA playoffs. Thats why we need more snow now.

I sure am not sad about any maps that show temps in the 50s at some point in the next few weeks, even if just for a day or two.
-
If this was a couple of weeks from now, today’s temps would have overperformed by even more. Post 2/20 is when full sun and lack of CAA really starts to have an effect
-
Saw that on euro AI. Evolution of Feb 13-15 was interesting
