Winds have subsided here over the past hour. Appreciate the break.

Patchy coverage here. My backyard still mostly covered. It's all about to turn rock hard.

Its ripping and blowing sideways. Still 33 otherwise it would be accumulating even faster.

Funny, but I was contemplating a similar question today. What would people prefer, four 7" storms over twelve days, each 3 days apart, or one 28 incher?

This year and last year are straight from the 80s weather wise.

Funny how everywhere around SNE, and in every direction is doing just fine…tells ya all you need to know. And this last Fridays storm brought a lot of us up to, or above average for December. But not everybody of course.

Yup…me too. Got 7.5” in that one above. Remember it well. It was ok, but this last Fridays(12/26) was much better. Ray JP’d so his ideas are different…so we can understand him liking that one.

Maybe the Hadley Cell is insidiously swallowing us all whole.

I wonder how they make that map, looks like it cut down from reports including the official sites by about an inch or 2 across the board. I’m guessing the real numbers are somewhere in between with the drifts

Radar looks good

24.8/12.9 at 8:30 pm. Still some flurries, but the WNW 16 gusting 34 mph winds are destroying them when they hit an object lol.

Is that in addition to the storm? .

Airbnb. I'll be there by Hopefully noon tomorrow. Once I reach NY I've got to decide if I'm going to punch through the streamer while it's over Syracuse or go around it. It's going to drift north from there and stall over our target area. We're flexible. We'll dump our location if it doesn't look to jack. The goal is to get into the maximum carnage. I've got a 4×4 truck and I'll punch it into the core. This ain't a camping trip. It's a storm chase.

I still have just about full coverage.....only bare ground is under the pine tree. 36.7 after a high of 37.8

Something has to go right during one of these good patterns eventually....I think....
