  2. This system just has a different feel to it. I never felt good about the last system because I hate overrunning setups. .
  3. My post made CWG! Landing @ DCA yesterday RWY 01 over the icy Potomac looking south west over Ft. Washington. Sent from my Pixel 9a using Tapatalk
  4. Albany area really underperformed, real precip never made it north. NWS was forecasting 18-24
  5. I really like the spot we are in just 3 and some change days out. Of course it can and will change some but the odds of us getting shafted are decreasing
  6. Still like the NAM quite a bit at 48.. @stormtrackerconcur?
  7. Yeah Nammer going to be NW Sent from my SM-S166V using Tapatalk
  8. I was just thinking the same thing. I haven't been involved this much since the accuweather forums.
  9. It does appear the excitement was a lp bombing off Cape Hatteras. It's at 984 about 25 miles off shore it appears.
  10. Okay, a little bit of WeatherNEXT action, and that panel is DAMN good.
  11. Yea at 48 the trend is continuing big time here. Really like what I’m seeing thus far. Agree with you guys.
  12. that was the blot, mdots were hard to come by, but we used to go to Central Park every weekend for the blotter
  13. Was a very tough storm to forecast when you got into the nitty gritty and with the higher QPF than predicted. I didn’t think anyone in NYC or LI would reach 12” in this type of storm and I was wrong. It’s a humbling hobby.
  14. What’s our next threat window after we sniff cirrus this weekend?
  15. So there's no doubt NAM changed for the better. So far, seems like baby steps, but again...it's early
  16. It's really easy to rewind that @Blizzard of 93 .There's usually only a couple screws to get to pulley and you just gotta make sure your recoil spring doesn't pop out. Generally on newer equipment it's in caseed or attached to the pulley already. Winding back up tying a few knots, putting it all back together is pretty self explanatory. You also want to make sure you use starter rope and not just any old nylon rope. If you're in a pinch and don't have time before another storm., I would definitely pick up the starter rope and do it for you at no cost , but it's really easy even if you never done it before.
