Now that I've had some time for various thighs to settle down this post just came to mind. Correct at the 7am time. Your screen name mocks the lack of proper snow measuring and you're debating if it was a white Christmas for you? You either had 1" or more or you didn't? Were you saying half your yard had more than an inch? I had spots with more than an inch but none of them were in my snow board or at my snow stake.

Calm down. I’m back on Friday. We’ll be tracking again.
-
It will always be tough. That is why, at least my area only sees 3-4 4-5 inches a winter, which is very fortunate to get these days if we see that
-
It’s got to be a record for the telecast to not have time to introduce the defense until there are 7 minutes left in the half.

That look has worked pretty well in recent winters, with a timely transient -NAO helping out at times.

So you would rather have a model that teased every single run post 200 hrs rather than a piece of guidance that 'should' be more accurate, at least in theory? I bet you were a huge fan of the DGEX too?

Gunna' need a very nice -Epo after losing the -Nao.

Oh so now that there is virtually no shot at making the playoffs, and with a backup QB, the Ravens decide to play bully ball and pound the rock. Feeding Henry, eating up clock and scoring on long drives. Fire Monken.

I do appreciate that. 1 inch of ice is worse than 3 feet of snow in many cases. I do not feel that the local stations are mentioning this event past a minor nuisance. -

Lol, 9° with DP of 3° at 8:30pm, That’s chilly. -
Check your posts from last Feb. I remember when one of the TOR crew said they had 26" depth you asking if that was the deepest he ever seen? Would be in the thread for the last event for which GRR had me under a Watch, only to cancel it by the next update when it became obv the storm wasn't going to get its act together in time for SWMI. Then even DTX said "miss SE stank" after AFD's were talking crippling bliz for the Thumb. It all ended up hitting TOR. Oh, and yeah another WWA from my office. Can I redeem 3 of them for Warning?? Going back two years almost, every county around Clare has gotten a Warning. Clare stands alone as the only county without one. On an island here, lol.

Winter 2025-2026 Offers Return to Normalcy
40/70 Benchmark replied to 40/70 Benchmark's topic in New England
I agree that is a big miss on that central area, but I still sent B- bc the rest of the forecast was essentially perfect...but yea, I had pause. I am usually a pretty tough grader, but threw myself about bit of a bone there...many outlets were also too robust in the max area, too...hell, NWS went 8-12". I was torn between B- and C+, so that is reasonable. -
Already down to 16⁰....unless we start getting some return flow and or clouds later on, its off to the races for radiators....clear, calm, and a fresh 7 inches of powder, should be the coldest of the season, at least here
