I feel like that one underperformed slightly regarding snow amounts, even for the LOT CWA. IIRC the wind was ripping apart the dendrites and lowering ratios, so was falling like pixie dust. But then again, wouldn’t have been the same without the big wind, so did meet overall expectations.

No matter the orientation of these bands, they all find a way to pass through PVD. Big flakes! What a truly incredible day.

@The 4 Seasons….so I measured the best I could, and got 13”. On the news tonight channel 3 Eye witness news said southington had 15”….so you can use either one pal.

Today's 23" gives me 52.7" for the season.

I cant believe im saying this...but seems high, they are usually too low and now have a measurement that seems a bit too high for them.

As of 4pm, PIT needed 1.3” additional snow to clinch an above normal snowfall season. That would seem to be pretty much a guarantee with whatever falls from this event from 4pm onward, the Tuesday night event, the Thursday event, and the early next week event.
