  2. ^This is now Invest 96L and it’s up to 30%/60% in the TWO.
  3. Another beautiful day with a temp of 75 degrees.
  4. Different regions definitely prefer different ENSO's. For here its NO contest - La Nina all day, any day. Strong El Nino is typically the worst ENSO state you want to see here in winter. We still get multiple rounds of snow/winter in strong Ninos, just usually less of it than normal. For the midatlantic where it's more of a feast/famine climate, the history of large snowstorms in El Nino vs La Nina makes it easy to see why you guys prefer Nino.
  5. Imagine if that purple, late-blooming one that peaks near 5C verifies.
  6. That 2023 is the anomaly is particularly interesting. Definitely a new pattern, these times.

  13. Cfs2 has been advertising a drop in the anomalies for about 8 days too, give or take, fwiw, before a resumption of warming and November peak.
  14. Today
  15. Remember to turn right after crossing the Sandy River. (Currently known as the Sandy Rock Garden)
  16. Lunar eclipse coming up late Thursday night into very early Friday morning. Hope the weather cooperates.
  17. Which would you prefer ? Near the Ocean? Desert? Mountains? Colder than where you live? Warmer? Or somewhere else in the Midwest/Lakes/Ohio Valley?
  18. Beautiful weather for a day off, though it is impressive how much the dews have still stuck around. We’re really locked into a generally more moisture laden pattern, it seems.
  19. Had a real nice thunderstorm this morning. Picked up .47" from it. Unfortunately the sun came out afterwards. Currently it is 85/79 for a feels like of 98. No dry air here.
  20. That’s incredible. A foot or so more than me. Really nice weather for August. Cut the grass and did a bit of garden cleanup over lunch and didn’t even break a sweat. Meanwhile Texas is baking.
  21. Def trending warmer, but I’m always wary of these 2m anomalies valid 6z and 18z. And I’m not sure how they calculate those 5 day means…like is it the average of the 6z maps in this case or is it inclusive of all 00,6,12, and 18z images? Because the 6z anomalies are much higher in magnitude than 18z which would signify much warmer mins and not quite as warm days. But 2m aside, 850s have been trending warmer too.
  22. 51 here this morning. Pre-season football and cool morning temps. Feels like Fall is getting closer.
