12/12: The little Friday clipper that could? Or won't.
Jebman replied to dailylurker's topic in Mid Atlantic
Kyle/Buda TX is experiencing runaway construction. We are building far faster than Dubai in the UAE. By 2035 this place will be far worse than Dale City ever was. Taxes will be sky high. Traffic will be impenetrable and it will take hours and hours to get thru all the traffic lights just on 1626. Crime is on the geometric rise down here. People are becoming extremely weird at night. I see strange stuff all the time out at night delivering. I am scared to death because my physical health is in an aerodynamic scream. I won't have to worry about 2035. Groundwater will run out and water will be far more expensive than gas. There is no hope at all. Poor people like me can see the writing on the wall. It's obvious. The rich are getting out while they can. This entire region all around Austin is turning into a midden. They won't stop til ever tree is gone and we are one big unhappy city like Coruscant in Star Wars. That's where we are heading. No way out. Been nice knowin' y'all. It was a nice ride. The end won't be. -

Euro def bumped NW at 18z with the goods. As long as 00z doesn’t shit the bed I like 2-4” for ct iso 4”+ just inland from south coast if we can get a good fronto band. Coating to 2” mass border to rt 2. -
Im curious to see how diehard the bears fans are with the current forecasted wind chills sunday. I remember in kc a few years ago playoff game had like -40 wind chills. Think they postpone this weekend?

Yeah Ashe County might cash in a few inches out of this one. If it comes in just a hair south Boone could get a surprise. It looks VERY healthy on radar. Sent from my Pixel 10 Pro using Tapatalk -

So wait, there is no mix with sleet and freezing rain then rain? Wow sound the alarms lol. I know being out here in the far West burbs we’re looking at a lesser amount than 95 but I’ve seen these Clippers do wierd things. I’ve seen a narrow banding happen before right through Reading Pa. not saying it’s like but something to keep an eye on -

Some holiday mood snows would be nice. Keeping expectations very low. Even an inch would be an accomplishment -

Definitely quite a bit of virga as John pointed out. You can see it on the OHX radar when the precip. seems to hit a wall around Clarksville. Not sure why that looks extra grainy. -

That puppy has got a LOT of snow and it has got its eyes right on the Mid Atlantic! Wow this may well be another 2013-2014 for you all!!! I've been saying it. I've been saying it. You are getting storm after storm after storm and the semipermanent ridge out west will keep shellacking you with arctic front after arctic front after arctic front! -
All I know is that the overall pattern sucks. So now we gotta pray to be on the right side of the gradient and hope that’s within 100 miles of us.

Dawg why do you think we are on this forum. I'm here to look at colorful maps and dream about snow

You said cold season lol…it’s been frieken cold as a bastard. And it ain’t even winter…but whatever. I don’t really let it bother me anymore. I lived this 40 years ago…it sucked and used to infuriate me then. Not so much now. I don’t like it…but just like everything else, it too will eventually change. -

Thought same thing but sometimes modeling will show nothing if the precipitation is virga -

Fine looking radar upstream: -
Noticed that on radar...presume it's virga or short range models slightly off to the north on precipitation maps.

Let's see what happens.

Incredible, just got home from work and just finished cleaning up the driveway and steps. 3.0" inches of lake effect from this tiny streamer sitting over my area of the Poconos this evening. Roads are horrendous. This is very localized stuff around here this evening. Season total now 15.0".
