  1. Past hour
  2. Funny how even the entire USA needed to be chilled back in the 1930's thru 1950's. There appears to have been no warming at all during the month of May during the last 100 years....welp unless we you know chill the past data. See the below altered May data vs the raw.....same story not just in Chester County PA
  3. She’s on the IL at the moment… think partial tear in her knee. She ripped the other knee like 4 years ago and we got it fixed… worked great. However, now she’s over 10, not in pain unless she goes on long hikes… so she may just be a light hike or valley dog along the river. She can do 5 miles flat or like under 1,000 verts mellow… but the 2,000 vertical feet straight up Mansfield days may be done, sadly.
  4. Cmon Charlie do better than that...what is the base stations or station they are using to validate in their estimation that the raw data was wrong and throw out 66% of reporting stations in some instances/years? You never give real data just altered alternative facts and related data.
  5. Dewing and dewing and dewing it well. Locked in next few months! https://x.com/ericfisher/status/1929996725118197995?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  6. An outside chance of briefly touching 90 on Thursday but I favor Central Park topping out at 88/89. Gonna be close. WX/PT
  7. Wakefield and all the local Mets are a little shy on pulling the trigger for the Thursday/Friday Coastal system. It's becoming more apparent it's coming north and should get well into Coastal North Carolina and at least the south side of Hampton Roads with showery East Wind driven rain. As we get closer it'll be interesting to see the details. Euro is now on board
  8. Just a couple years ago we had this (in SoMD at least). It was a lot worse and even mid day the sky was reddish and you could really smell the smoke. I don't remember if the smoke was from Canada or somewhere in the US though.
  9. The sea breeze on LI is producing dewpoints in the 30s and 40s lol give me that sea breeze all day long please
  10. Why? Because NCEI knows how to analyze weather data and you don't. Every time I compare NCEI to Chester County raw data they look damn good. Of course you need to take out the 2 big station moves. NCEI looks even better when data from outside the county is included. The evidence is overwhelming.
  11. Today
  12. I don’t know about all of that, but I do know that I’m enjoying one above normal day on the lake today before the weather turns to shit for the rest of the foreseeable future.
  13. The sky over my garden sure is smokey.
  14. Thursday starting to look a lot different on models. Heat getting muted by clouds and easterly winds?
  15. I guess this is the year I try this method...
  16. Black flies are the worst. Nothing deters them. At least with deer flies you can wear a hat with tanglefoot on it that catches them and there other ways to catch them in the yard.
  17. Seabreeze just getting here, pronounced on radar. Was hung up by the LIE for a while. Temp 80.
  18. 39 this morning - may be a while before I see that again. See ya on the flip side.
  19. its free a/c.. I still haven't installed and at 3pm its still cool inside
  20. Definitely not as comfortable today with the higher temps watering the garden. As soon as I got home I could smell smoke in the air from above. Also many insects swarming around.
