  1. Past hour
  2. Drove from FFX to Arlington at around 5. It was 31 degrees the whole time when I was on 50 (car thermometer). No spin outs or anything but detected some crunchiness. I think we have a warm up tonight but if there is nothing, it's gonna be hairy for folks. This was inside the beltway.
  3. Saw a report of 3” just north of Winchester city. https://x.com/weathergeek45/status/2028591767293944274?s=46
  4. Lol, lots of “evidence” will be posted later this evening showing why the cold & potential snow chances could be coming back by mid month.
  5. Obligatory pic. Didn't pay much attention and wasn't expecting much, but did notice some of the guidance this morning had a streak of 'heavier' precip through here. Wasn't even snowing when I left work in Easton. Nice little finale if this is indeed the end of winter. Just over an inch. Next- early summer in a few days.
  6. Its over here. Just some flurries around. I am going to go with 2 inches here. Was probably more at some point. But I wasnt here to see it. Second biggest event of the winter here. Which is ridiculous. But this event did get me over a foot for the winter. Is what it is.
  7. I told some of you he does this. On X he posts about the cold coming. On his site he has a different tune of course since he could lose his business.
  8. Which will also slow the warmup Saturday and push it to Sunday
  9. .2” in Havre de Grace. Just missed out on the heavier stuff.
  10. 6pm update Measured 5 places and ranged 1.75-2.5” Temp down to 32.4
  11. Man driving back on FFX parkway and Reston town center area got screwed. Areas a mile or two north got the initial band and then a couple miles south moderate dendrites started with more snow on the ground. Now home and nice fluffy snow. Perfect for a post hike hot tub
  12. 18z RGEM is mostly snow here.. won't happen but has been consistent
  13. I give it an A here. 65.5" so far. Several nwf events and two double digit events. Sent from my Pixel 10 Pro using Tapatalk
  14. Last batch west/southwest of DC looks to be beefing up a bit before it pushes through dc/south. .
  15. All asphalt or concrete here so it doesn't take nearly as much to melt.
  16. We’ve had 0.2 inches at ORD since like Feb 2nd so it’ll be a lengthy stretch. .
  17. Howdy! Looks like i picked a good night to work late. It’s happening here. Wife sent some pretty good pics from Montclair too. About 1pm i was pretty sure we would get shutout lol
  18. Every vertical foot eh? Alright so let's say there's a specific elevation that's the threshold between sticking and not sticking. If you were to put two steps made of the exact same concrete a foot apart vertically...would the snow stick on one and not the other?
  19. Had 3 perfect track phasing bomb 40F rainstorms that winter. If Nino is moderate to strong I’d feel pretty optimistic. If it’s a super Nino, back your umbrella
  20. What a raw day today. After a high of 68 yesterday. I had a high of 45 today.
  21. 1.0” spotter report submitted! Still snizzling
