Wow. I picked 1.45 IMBY but it was spread over hours. As much as I’d prefer a thunderstorm to boring stratiform rain, I feel long duration light rainfall helps more with greening. Still need way more water here, but the short duration 2+ inch per hour instantaneous-rate showers seem to run off to the street without truly soaking into the soil. It’s especially bad when you have a layer of clay on a slope.

Light rain still. The heaviest was lining up to destroy my area and has just fizzled out to showers as it's approached for the last 2 hours.

It’s here raining but the heavy stuff is north and south, and the south stuff is hitting a wall it appears and won’t get up here even on an ene heading.

Currently 72 degrees here…crazy I’m missing the rain now.

1996 and 2010-12 were the two wild weather periods I remember. This stretch personally since Jan 2022 however by far has been the most boring.
