Radar has changed in the last few frames. Moisture streaming east to west across Suffolk now. Winds have picked up here so I think that secondary low is starting to have an impact up here now -

Never ceases to amaze me...every year we come out here to Pittsburgh for a Steelers weekend and the number of people wearing PSU gear is at least double over Pitt. I did get some ribbing today from a few Pitt fans about Franklin...they had no idea how happy I am. -
I really don't think it's gonna get that far (that is 3 straight losing seasons). Biscotti got rid of Billick even after giving him an extension ahead of the awful 2007 season...so we can't say definitively what he's gonna do this time. This is the first year in the Lamar era that we've struggled in the regular season like this and where the coaching issues are reaching an untenable level.

Dry slot offshore on the past few radar loops. Let's see if it fills back in. Precip is minimal west of 95. Still just some light rain and mist with a breeze. Rainfall amounts <0.10" the past 24 hours. -

Yup. Out coldest part of the year is now our warmest part of winter. -
0.39" and counting here. HRRR has an additional 1-1.5" for the city east (as well as the immediate western burbs) which coupled with yesterday's rain is decent after the recent dry spell.

i don't do tog anymore.....something has happened with that fishery. back in the day you could catch a mess of them, i used to fish under the verrazzano.....the block island sound fishery is a good one though, but these limits, jeebus....guys are eeling bass already up here, but those are resident river bass. gotta see what shakes out after this storm; my guess is inshore is kaput; but it might get those stripers moving our way. going to dinner now for some porgies and sea bass, the last of our catch earlier in the week. see you out there, cap.... -

Not that it has any relevance. My acorn & walnut trees have more nuts than I have ever seen in the 20 years here at my place. Squirrels oddly there is not nearly as many as there used to be. Still more than they can eat & store.

Again, the path we are on here is Coughlin and the Giants. He won 2 SBs. It got stale. The fans were restless and saw the need for change. Clamoring for it. Same as we are now. The front office sat on its hands. It got worse. 3 straight losing seasons- they still didn't fire him! He fucking resigned.
