  1. Past hour
  2. You must have more blowing snow than me or something. I have some wind, but I'm typically protected on the leeward side of my mountain during nwf. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  3. A nice Porter at Stumptown to end a fun day of snow chasing! Highly recommend the trip to anyone that has the time and the means!
  4. Yay! Now to wait out here in the NNK, but I think it would take something like the higher returns over the west end…
  5. Yea, the goods last long in DEC than 1st half. I was really loose with wording. And of course, we have to break before Christmas & have temporary blowtorch to get through Christmas, ha.
  6. I’m happy for the Charlotte folks. If it couldn’t be my area, I’m glad it’s them. No metro area in the SE has been shafted more these past several winters than them. They whiffed on 2 winter storms last season and watched Raleigh take both to the bank. Not to mention the many misses leading up to last year. Enjoy!
  7. Doubt we go below freezing here. Probably level off 33/34. 38 now.
  8. Yes definitely see some flakes in the west end of Richmond !
  9. Nearing 4 inches at the house and still snowing. Down to 18.
  10. We’re trying not to cry that it’s easier to get snow in SC than it is in the NW Piedmont and Foothills of NC. [emoji16] Five horrible winters in a row have taken a toll… Seriously, though, that is awesome for those getting snow so early. Those kids must be loving it! November snow is an amazingly rare treat outside of the mountains, much more so in the Sandhills. .
  11. Man I swear you spot is gold for snow and cold. I'm on Beech higher up and you just about always have higher totals and colder temps. Nuts. Perfect location!!! Makes me think about looking in your area. I'm at 13 as of 8pm and about 3 inches.
  12. All joking aside, it’s been a tough series of winter breaks down there. Need a few late blooming Miller B’s to CCB Essex County on the way out this winter. Feels like that used to happen with frequency in the 2000s and 2010s.
  13. We need a fast start to winter man. Hoping this a comes true.
  14. We have about 2 inches on elevated surfaces here
  15. Yea, I'm waiting for Santa to come and shove the snow stake from Mansfield right up my vortex again.
  16. Yeah, just took the dogs out. 37 with 30 mph gusts.
  17. Looking at the thread and saw Ray replied, and my first thought was, of course it’ll be the first BTV snowfall that brings him back to the thread …
  18. Tomorrow morning pictures should be awesome! Take care Don!
  19. Getting lots of reports of the roads getting pretty bad. Some people saying 40 is a solid sheet of ice.
  20. Down to 36. Feels frigid with the wind.
  21. There’s definitely some stuff on radar, but I see an mping report near richmond reporting flakes. I assume it’s too warm and dry, but does anyone see anything? Even rain?
