The last time LGA reached 100° in August was 2006. 2002 was hotter than 1983 for the areas despite not reaching 100. Plenty of 97,98, 99's for the city and elsewhere. A degree.

Long range RAP holds off most of the smoke until Monday. Worst of it will be north of here. HRRR has the same progression, but isn't as thick
