  4. 49.8 this AM...so refreshing. I know the usuals are about to bombard me with charts full of ridges...I get it. But it's simply a nice fall preview.
  5. "Well, in this new, warmer climate, guidance has consistently underestimated the southeast ridge, time of the MJO spent in (insert undesirable phase) and (insert undesired weather)".
  6. If we get a Niño for 26-27 and the PDO improves like it did last year could that be a legit shot for us to finally score?
  7. I dream about the weather. Doesn't everyone? D'OH
  8. Thought I was just going to be "crumbed" again with 0.05" before midnight, but overnight something came out of nowhere and gave us a healthy 0.98". Much appreciated.
  9. Drier air is moving in and dewpoints should continue to drop into the 50s this afternoon.
  10. i don't really pay attention to the weather when i'm sleeping
  11. Sunny here. 73/62 Low was 63.
  12. Just starting. Basswood tree is usually the first.
  13. I don’t remember wild fire smoke being this much of an issue when I was a kid. Maybe once or twice, but it’s an annual occurrence now. Is it happening more?
  14. 2002 was hotter than 1983 for the areas despite not reaching 100. Plenty of 97,98, 99's for the city and elsewhere. A degree.
  15. Long range RAP holds off most of the smoke until Monday. Worst of it will be north of here. HRRR has the same progression, but isn't as thick

  17. Currently in Litchfield, IL. It’s really, really bad. :/
  18. Today
  19. I've dropped to 56 with on and off showers passing through. This is a welcome change from the workweek. Pouring footers and laying block at two of my rebuilds in South Toe/Toecane this week was brutal. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  20. I guess the front didn't make it to southern AA County. I'm in Deal and it's cloudy, damp, and humid. I needed nice conditions today.
  21. Nah…CFS is bringing the flakes in August to NY and the picnic tables.
