Tomorrow night will be the show 3-5 on Nam
-
0z nam a little better for mby, but temps stay at 33-34 during the heaviest precip. Sounding is (wet) snow, but will have a tough time accumulating towards advisory criteria.
-
Wantage NJ this lower part final was 3.9" water equivalent 0.29.

I actually hate being negative but this is the only place I can be negative with weather and it’s justified. How much snow have we received since 2016? Just think if me as an ensemble member. I’d like to be positive. But every time I try …it all falls apart Just have some mercy on me. I’d love to change my tune

Yeah once 33andrain formed in 2017 most of the biggest posters left and went there

The 0z Nam is a few tics west of 18z -
Looks like it's driven by forcing at 850mb swinging thru. Probably gonna be frozen, but shorter duration west of 15. One of those forecasts where mets are put to the test.

For kicks and giggles. The 18z AIFS Euro EPS....the bulk of that is after the 23rd. This is definitely on the high end of ensembles. There are other models with much less. I generally like to look at these for storm tracks. Interestingly, the Carolina storm track....most of that doesn't fall w/ the ongoing storm.

That's not what hrrr showed it showed better round 2. .
-
Yeah you PSU and Mappy should love that one!
-
Boarder counties might luck into some snow tonight/tomorrow. .

I think round/low 2 is basically done for most of area, round/low 1 however good for 2-4"... If that verifies, 4-7" over 2 days for most on forum -

I get it. Although we've had a pretty good December here in Connecticut this year, we've been jilted the last several years here too. I just don't like being pessimistic. It's just my nature. But I totally understand where some are coming from when they're pessimistic. All we can do is hope and pray
