  1. Past hour
  2. 7pm sunset is a game changer every year. gives a fresh breath of air to the daily routine. also looking forward to some rain to get this salt out of here. not sure about other areas in the metro but white plains should be banned from ever looking at salt again. its absurd what they do, especially considering i come from somewhere with a significantly higher amount of snowfall than down here, i've never seen such blatant salt usage
  3. Euro sneaky snowstorm for NE Mass on the 6th
  4. Not true. I understand youre still relatively new to the region, but March/April climo is its own entity. Unless an abnormally cold pattern is in place to start March, this is the end of deep/sustained winter for the southern Lakes. However the mere chance of a snowstorm, much less measurable snow, is very much there into mid April amd sometimes beyond.
  5. There’s a similar situation in NYC: JFK reported 8” snow cover while Central Park had just 1”.
  6. The E coast is due for a cold April as the last 3 have actually been mild.
  7. .3 this morning, 45.4” for the season.
  8. Yeah. Larry, I had been concerned we could be headed into another "dust bowl" situation as the Southern Plains has been very dry as well. That 31-32 sticks out. Could you run some numbers in the current Plains situation ? Then what we can find on the Global Indices leading up to the Dust Bowl. Hopefully the incoming Nino will derail any such evolution this time.
  9. I feel like the ai has been moving in that direction. Doesn’t it also have wintry precip with the “wave 2”
  10. Man those snow depth#s are all over the place. 18 inches in one place in CT and less then 50 miles east 8? Lol
  11. Euro AI trying for NoP too later in the week. We press?
  12. 1.5 here. Probably wound have been over 2 if it fell earlier but needed to wetbulb.
  13. Including what fell this morning (.10") I'm at 49.9" for the season.
  14. About the same here. I’m actually sick of snow cover. Would like to see some grass
  15. Euro had right idea west….glue factory eastern areas.
  16. Had moderate sleet this morning. Dog apparently enjoys getting pelted by ice while running around.
  17. Some snow depth from around the region as of this morning.
  18. thats awesome! Driving thru Grafton yesterday saw a lot of people out on Lake Ripple
  19. I can’t wait to hear the wailing about it….
  20. I’d say that Jan 26 forecast verified well overall, except it was too warm for the SE.
