  1. Past hour
  2. We picked up about .10” earlier, but I would say there was much more than that just to my south. At least the flowers will be happy tomorrow.
  3. Round 4 going on now with steady moderate/heavy rain.
  4. Looks like a little under an inch here. Glad to see the southern end of the county take the brunt this time. The place hit hardest was really Perry County, with basically the entire county seeing 2-4”.
  5. There is some kind of new bird flu or virus going around...saw an article about it a week or so ago. 79/72 Line kind of died, but at least we'll get some good rain.
  6. Steady moderate stratiform rain now
  7. June 2025 finished tied as the 6th warmest June on record for Chicago. Warmest June's 1. 76.2° - 1933 2. 75.8° - 1971 3. 75.6° - 1954 4. 74.3° - 2021 4. 74.3° - 1952 6. 74.2° - 2025 6. 74.2° - 2005 8. 74.0° - 2020 8. 74.0° - 2012 8. 74.0° - 1949

  10. Yesterday
  11. I’d bet I end up over 3” looking at radar . He came .. he left .. he lost
  12. We have had some nice rumbles of thunder by me in NJ.
  13. Just noticed a few EPS members are interesting with that possible storm off the SE coast
  14. That line in Westchester now approaching Long Island Sound. I figure it will start to die out as it crosses the sound toward Long Island.
  15. This is kind of weird, I just did a mile long walk with the dog and we saw three dead birds in the road, all different species maybe a quarter mile apart. No obvious wounds or trauma. I wonder if it had to do with the thunderstorm?
  16. Flashes and thunder here even with storms a distance away
