  1. Past hour
  2. 1.42” from yesterday evening
  3. South shore getting a nice batch of rain currently adding to the .5” from yesterday. I’ll take it.
  4. Pool overflowed. Havent seen that in a long time.
  5. Had a rainfall rate of 5.29" per hour but it was thankfully short lived, .76" total.
  6. Today
  7. My retirement league fishing was this morning. River pure mud with debris, I’m not doing that. We picked up a 1/2 inch of rain but other places got dumped on, Crazy Weather!! I See Mount Joy got 7.40”
  8. The light to moderate rain behind the initial line pushed the total up to 0.78"
  9. 0Z Euro: pulled back slightly from the somewhat more bullish 18Z but still fairly similar to it
  10. So hard to believe, flood watch into tomorrow, Tuesday! 2 to 6 inches possibly tonight as an MCV continues to swirl to our southwest interacting with the highly abnormally humid airmass. I could still get my mini flood tonight, right when I am trying to deliver Uber lol. It'd serve me right, I am the guy who is dying to climb a tree in the midst of deep floodwaters, screaming myself HOARSE for rescue! I want to go full Kerrville, full-on Guadalupe, just like on July 4th! Should be really fun with the bad left knee! NO WAY I can run from this! I REALLY AM The Floodman!
  11. ^Followup on UKMET: -12Z had no TC/lowest SLP 1010 mb -18Z had a TC/lowest SLP 1004 mb -0Z is back to no TC/lowest SLP 1013 mb
  12. Had much rain, thunder, lightning, power outages, etc... not much wind.
  13. Our flight from pvd was cancelled so we we drove home and went through that mess. Phone was going off every few minutes with a new flash flood warning. Not a fun drive.
  14. The most important thing is people walking away safely, which hopefully everyone did tonight. After that, then looking at the property losses, including vehicles. The costs and resources to repair or replace these things is astronomical these days, and with modern day cars, it doesn't take much water incursion to completely ruin it or run a tab into the tens of thousands in repairs.
  15. Got about 3" in the first ~90 minutes and about 4" overall, here in Metuchen, despite the radar showing only 2.5-3.0".
  16. Yep, I think you’re right…I still kick myself for not getting tickets to the derby when it was here.
  17. also if I remember Bryce won it (when it was in DC) when his dad was pitching to him.
  18. Looks like 3.5" will do it, and that's on the low side. Some nearby stations are over 4 inches, closer to 4.5" actually. Had some bouts of incredibly torrential rain. Literally went from needing to add water to the pool, to having it filled to the brim and needing to drain it.
  19. you kinda knew he was gonna get it after getting into the final 4 by a fraction of a foot. pretty impressive all around. Dude that hit the ball 500+ ft is insane (i think it was Cruz).
  20. Radar estimates about 1 1/2” of rain at my place. 5 miles SE there’s been 5-6” of rain with water rescues taking place on route 309. I believe part of the route is still closed since there’s still standing water there.
  21. 2.18” here. On the northern edge of the heavier rains.
  22. These are some slow moving storms.
  23. Cal Raleigh was damn impressive in the HR derby tonight. Neat that his dad was his pitcher and his younger bro was the catcher.
