  1. Past hour
  2. Pretty much all models show the MJO ready to take a nice trip towards the left side. GFS has highest amplitude.
  3. The 18z AI EPS. Some big dogs in there. Two separate storms. Windows are 14-15th and the 20th.
  4. 18z GFS shows a couple of opportunities between the 15th & 19th. The first chance is light this run, but could have been more if the pieces phased better. The second chance misses south this run, but again the potential is there.
  5. So we are all set then Jan 20-21 secs
  6. Had some sleet earlier. Best part of it being icy tonight is I don’t have to travel to Branford tomorrow so that means I can watch the first period of this stupid 10:00 game tonight.
  7. I still think 93/94 was better. That epic ice storm that set the floor for a snowpack that never died. I fell more times that winter than any other. Of course sandwiched between was that awful El Nino winter
  8. Definitely strange weather here. We’re supposed to have again tonight mist and fog developing. We had it last night and it was cloudy till about noon. The fog is already developing.
  9. 33/30 with sprinkles, had some frozen move through earlier, plenty of salt on the roads IMBY
  10. I believe its still the only winter to have above normal snowfall each month from nov to april
  11. I remember that well and how devastating it was. What others forget however was how quickly the snowpack was rebuilt again and how the ground remained snow covered in some of the forum, I can only speak for myself and those of us in the north, through most of February and March. That was a true Thanksgiving to early April winter.
  12. Not sure what the semantic registry is on your side, but going from not a positive PNA to a positive PNA is a regime change Now, if you’re talking about whether it is going to provide this that or the other thing …who knows The other thing is that PNA may not last that long because there will be another regime chain shortly thereafter- if the extended range multi ensemble sourced indicators play out the way they look now. We’ll go to a negative EPO “regime“
  13. I think the lack of sun hurt. When the sun popped out for even a few mins yesterday, I noticed the difference.
  14. Walden is definitely a weenie spot. Great snowmobiling area. The pictures below are from the last couple of years.
  15. Walking in New Providence right now, seems like a light mist is falling.
  16. Just biked a loop around my hood and my hands didn’t get cold until the very end. The thaw was delayed, but denied.
  17. And it’s digital snow not at hour 360!
  18. Gardner was salted the shit out of the roads. Hubbardston…nada
  19. Similar here driving back from Wachusett. Big flakes in Westminster and Gardner that flipped to sleet.
