  1. Past hour
  2. You just contradicted yourself when you supported Will. He’s also talking about a torch next week, not this week.
  3. I’ll take 50s in early March. That’s a solid +10 margin for the area.
  4. Went from nothing to steady light snow in like 3 min. Prob 3/4-1 mile stuff. we’ll see if we can ramp up with that heavier band
  5. Coming down pretty good. Coating most surfaces.
  6. Oh so we already verified next week? Cool. I’ll follow along.
  7. Hard to believe but we had frost last night
  8. Just missed a record high at 66.7 degrees, record is 67.5 from 2011.
  9. If no one is posting pretty maps of snow and ice accums, its not a real threat.
  10. WOW! 40 in your area tomorrow? 72 here in ATL area.
  11. WB 6Z GEFS. Don't plant annuals during the upcoming warm spell. Winter could return weekend of the 13th.
  12. Total fail at BDL, had snow/snow grains for like half an hour and then it just stopped even though radar returns were still decent lol
  13. Temperature dropped 3 degrees with steady light snow now. Might actually get that dusting they promised.
  14. Moderate snow here and temp 34F
  15. Have had a plethora of flake types here....now we have the warm, quarter size flakes falling, pretty meh here
  16. This week wasn’t a torch. Seek help.
  17. Yeah I’ll take those 40s and 50s…thanks
  18. And they think I’m crazy in the head needing to be committed. The mega torch vanished and instead typical spring misery replaced it.(expected) but was hoping they were right about extended warmth
  19. Legit moderate snow now with good growth and large flakes. I got the coating I hoped for. Lol. I dunno, my work is sort of seasonal too and I like working hard for 6-8 months and then getting a 4 month respite. Don't complain.
  20. That’s why my rule of thumb for tomato planting is Mother’s Day. .
  21. The type of torch modeled this week honestly sucks. I’m 100% with Kevin. If we’re not gonna be 60+, then keep it winter. Nothing worse than 40s and 50s with some CAD 30s rain mixed in there. Absolute utter garbage. Maybe next week we can get a clean warm sector but lotta lead time for things to go sideways.
  22. Certainly a good possibility of a cold period, following. In simple terms, spring warmth waxes and wanes as it "battles" the last cold air of the season. Early warm weather is bad for flowering fruit trees and flowering trees like magnolia. Flowering trees are particularly vulnerable during bloom. In a recent April, my neighbor's gorgeous magnolia bloomed one (1) day. That night went to 24 F and every bloom withered. A freeze during bloom kills the entire peach, apple, pear crop.
  23. looks like this will have significant pull after-all…
