Interesting event down here. Figured I was done for the day around 1pm when if looked like dry air was shutting down accum rates. Getting a nice burst of steady light snow and vis back under a mile. Not sure how long it will last but might be able to add to the 2".

I was looking more towards CLT to Statesville where many sites are already reporting 4-8". Wonder if RAH is going to update soon with their own additional snow forecast?

We are currently in Phase 8 headed to Phase 1. But we are not staying in Phase 1 for very long. We will be in Phase 2 by the 3rd, then loop around 2,3,4 thru the end of February if this model is to be believed.

Looking at the radar (hard to tell), can almost see what looks like a faint streamer coming off the river close to Lenior City, feeding toward Tellico area.

I cleared the board at 1 pm (I noticed some compaction) with just over 11". I've since picked up another 2.25" and it's currently 0° with northerly winds sustained around 15. Sent from my Pixel 10 Pro using Tapatalk

A little more of a steady light snow now. It's so damn windy. They are calling for gusts between 60 and 70 mph right along the immediate Shoreline tonight. That's rough.

We have maybe 2 inches since the start at 10am. I cant see us getting and additional 2-3 by the evening.
