high heat index, perhaps the hottest of the year for any area that's 107-109 right now

Drinking this Dragon's Milk Stout probably also contributes to my lack of complaining.

July 2025 Obs/Disco ... possible historic month for heat
Typhoon Tip replied to Typhoon Tip's topic in New England
Y'all cool weather thumpers may not wanna look at this Euro ... unless you want a dose of rat poison in your d-drip. I don't think I've seen the mean jet displaced this far N in any summer before... It really starts to materialize around 200+ hrs and runs out to the end of the run. More for muse then for now - -
Mostly cloudy here. 78/66 No complaints.

Tropical downpours on and off today. Keeping temps in check, rather be soaked from rain versus sweat.
-
Since 2016 every time those big white mushrooms show up after a prolonged wet period there's always some form of drought development before the calendar year is out.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss and a loss to this forum. Praying for you and your family!

Apparently you missed the memo. -
I actually appreciate the civil responses/rebuttals given by the professionals and well versed board members. It helps me and perhaps others, without an extensive background, to have a better understanding of the what and why we are experiencing. I pray I can live until 2047. My hope is in my centennial.year current projections will not have become the obvious. Stay well, as always …..

What have you noticed about overall tree health this season? It appears to me at least in my area to be better than the last few. -

we probably are already doing so but i wish we could do equal amount of research on all of the different types of weather phenomenon out there including those teleconnection things maybe theres some sort of new one or something like that i mean noaa is doing a great job with the new research that they are doing now i just wish there could be even more research or a balanced amount just so that we can get rid of these unknowns and etc im sure its possible we do in fact someday figure out how our planet earth works even further sort of thing or something -

tied with 2010 over there for 90 degree days!! I'm shocked 1993 and 1999 aren't up there too. Was the highest temperature ever recorded there in July 2011??
