  1. Past hour
  2. I need to hope it's patently wrong....slides everything out ENE after you.
  3. Easily >2 inches hour rates currenrly
  4. There are 0 words for what’s happening under this band up this way. Sorry it didn’t pan out so well back at home team [emoji21]
  5. Graduated back in 1981. I haven't been an active forecaster for most of it. I see a lot of generalizations and optimistic wish casting, which can be confusing. I am hoping for an epic storm, but trying to keep my expectations in line with the models and present storm signals. So far, my area has received 3.5" and it is snowing moderately. My guess is that Union County in NJ will get 8-14". However, Sacrus just recently posted a map for tomorrow morning, showing the low still off NYC, which would indicate it is not moving away too fast. If that is the case, maybe higher amounts?
  6. Heavier returns from the trough spreading further into hoco then I imagined they would
  7. I'm skeptical given the radar off the NJ coast, but we'll know soon enough. Radar currently looks pretty good across the state. Let's bank as much as we can.
  8. My weather app is even going all in! Historic blizzard boom cyclone!
  9. Just amazing this is a text book snowstorm to end a wonderful winter enjoy everyone! We know how hard this is to come by lately
  10. I'm going to end up with a lot. 7" and heavy snow ongoing.
  11. I feel like if that NYC-CT band doesn't make it to you, then you're porked...NW of that is arctic sand.
  12. wonder if we can morph this to a light/moderate event N MA/SNH?
  13. 990 mb now. Kinda looks closer to the coast than forecasted. Any truth yo that? I'm eye balling 6 inches in southern Manhattan.
  14. Talk about a waste of our taxes... Was out for a Jebwalk earlier and four big snowplows come by... to plow 2-1/2" of slop. Amazing - four large double axle dump trucks doing the job of what one truck could easily do. Plus, because Lawyers road is technically a state route, which means VDOT is responsible. So, the four plow trucks were trailed by a supervisor in a SUV. Five vehicles, five drivers, at who knows how much per hour per driver and vehicle - to plow 2-1/2".
  15. Snow stakes look so funny 1 sided covered
  16. Having a hard time believing it given the pileup of echoes going up south of Long Island, but who knows?
  17. Looks right to me. Afterall it’s got the Springfield MA snow hole lol
  18. Yeah I was about to say your area looks like it will potentially get close to the low end of guidance
  19. I'm watching that on radar and Yes Goldsboro/Greensboro is about to get hammered IMO
  20. Same. I am skeptical we get much measurable stuff period, pavement or not.
