For sure. Amazing how last few years couldn’t buy a Quebec high…this year just the opposite.
-
any idea if they'll actually get around to updating this map? So many of the reports represented are mid-day Monday obs (for example Westwood and Dover, MA observations). Seems like they never actually received / incorporated EOD totals Monday night for a lot of spots.

agreed. by march the fun of it has worn off for me and i remember that i can go skateboarding outside and not in head to toe long johns. we skate a parking garage in dobbs ferry where im nearly certain theres loads of asbestos or some other highly carcinogenic insulation that we breathe in 3-4 times a week for the duration of winter. obv, thats my own problem, but having skateboarded essentially my entire life it's not something i can just shelf for a few months. the snow is beautiful but by march i've exhausted my 4 hoodies i own and im ready to be outside in a tee shirt again. on the other hand, i'd certainly rather see it snow than the 30 straight days of grey, rain, wind, and 51 degrees that april will surely bring lmao

Yup, ours did that. Then said they would either go with the delay, or cancel by 8:00 am. Once it went bonkers here…and kept going, it was clear that they would need to cancel, and sure enough they did. -
No, I just meant the 3” that fell went poof after the sun we had today. Obviously there is still great pack, but it’s a losing battle with the strengthening sun

One theme of this winter is things being too slow...hard to bet on faster timing -

Don't you? You're odd man. -
The Quebec highs have been relentless this winter so having that trend like that wouldn’t surprise me. Gotta get through the next week first and see how anything prior shakes out . We’ll see.

So much I can say, but will not... But a period of snow was always forecast to fall during the commuting period... Whenever that is going to occur, the best option is to delay and then reassess. There were some districts that announced the delay and reassessment routine Tuesday evening. -
Nah unless it's some monster March storm most are ready for spring.

This is the setup that has had the second highest likelihood of all our storms so far this year. Simple, easy way to win. -

Gefs further south right now -
What a banner Winter for the Ohio Valley and Northeast,as well as much of the MA. At least one more big dog for the Ohio Valley is looking more likely the first of the Week. If only the mean Trough had been a bit further Southwest. Cincinnati down to Charleston WV have had abundant Snow. As has Danville VA to the Tidewater up the Delmarva and points North. The Great Valley has had near average Snowfall (Todays Averages) with a few locations somewhat below. The Plateau has averaged overall slightly below north to well below South. The biggest below disparity has been much of middle Tn in our Forum. So close to having the coldest, snowiest Winter here since 2014-15. I wish something unforeseen would force the Trough further South so we could get the Goods Monday. However, doesn't look likely as features out west war against that happening.

Gefs south for Monday. Its early to lets see what the models show during the weekend.

cold hangs on and comes in 2 shots.. that would be a awesome ending to winter

I mean it was 53 the day before the last one and it dropped to 33 and it was accumulating. 24 probably is better no?
