    Everything thing is pretty dang similar minus that West most SW in canada/montana. GFS brings it in and helps the trof tilt. NAM doing what every other model does.

    This a good summary of where we stand IMHO, though it was written before the 12z cycle. https://x.com/ContentWxGuy/status/2024528387927097369 Recon data may help the models gain clarity, though the recon mission prior to Fri 0z run is significantly further west into the central Pacific than the recon mission whose data was ingested into today's 0z cycle.

    Well, through 42, i think the NAM is better than 12z, when it was pretty terrible so not saying much i guess.

    Another 0.8" to top off the tank. 18" storm with blizzard conditions for many hours was just awesome. Warmer, moist air running over icy cold lake air on a rather stiff ENE wind was the ticket. Always do well in town when that happens.
