I wonder if August is going to complete the trifecta of positive temperature departures during the first half of the month and negative temperature departures during the second half of the month for this summer, or if August will end up being the most consistently warm month.

2026-2027 Record-breaking El Nino

I have no problem seeing opposing viewpoints, biases, etc. Bluewave is a great example. I often disagree with many things he says, but he is never disrespectful. Keep on doing you bluewave. Thats how to run a discussion forum on the internet. But snowman was very rude, mean-spirited, and would hurl insults. He may have a lot of knowledge, but so do many people in here. His posts will not be missed by me. -
it's the best when a ROF delivers like that, enjoy

Nice bowing segment going to ride 88 right into the metro

To be fair, when it gets colder than avg or snowy, posts from anywhere around the world are fair game. Last winter we would see something in French or Spanish tell us the cold wont last. -
looks like the mcs is finally getting it's act together, just in time for the metro.
-
Heavier east of here but it’s basically been storming for the past 6 hours.

Ready to rock and roll.

Interesting that the only gap in the line yesterday was in about the same spot a line of showers came through during the am. -

Looking at the radar loop, this thing really sped up in the last hour or so. Let's see how fast it dives SE.

You mean "fortunately." Lol -
Cluster kinda fell apart as it got down towards me, but still some decent gusts. gusted to 39kts at Lunken and CVG which more than verifies the 40mph SPS. Surprised that wilmington dropped the SVR, though I haven't seen anything that would verify 50kt winds. Hopefully PM round is more electric

Those book ends can mean hella business. I remember one from may 2004. Southern tier of counties in MI got smoked at the 2pm hour. Was a kid at the time but those green skies and golf ball size hail were something else.- 1,866 replies
