    This will be one of the driest Septs I've lived through, I'm at 14mm/.5" for the month with nothing forecast til Oct 1. Parts of lawns are tanning. This mostly clear stretch has been epic, Since last Mon and forecast delayed any rain til the 1st so 9 days or more of great wx!

    Lowest hourly SLP at reporting land-based station I found was 29.37” (994.6 mb) at Toms River, NJ, at 9AM and 10AM. Next lowest Atlantic City 29.39” (995.3 mb) at 11AM.

    Thanks. If that makes it to TS status and avoids getting to H status, I think that would tie an Atlantic Basin record for most named storms in a row from start of season not making it to H status.

    It all depends how deep their well is…and if they are tapped into a good aquifer. My patents(mom) have had the house we grew up in for 53 years. Well is still fabulous. She had to have the pump and tank replaced a couple months ago…and the service was blown away by how clean and healthy the well is…it’s exceptionally deep too.

    SLK mean temp 33.9F in December 2015, and 64F on Christmas Eve. Mean temp 2.6F in December 1989, and 18 days with a low temp of -10F or colder.

    just look at the radar - at 2:50 there is a large band of moderate to heavy precip heading towards the metro from the southeast over the Atlantic that will add at least a couple inches to the totals in Central NJ if it holds together

    A lot of cities and towns in NH are in the process of installing town/city water or strongly considering it. Personally I don't see how they can avoid not doing so.
