  1. Past hour
  2. I just measured 14.5. Tough with all the drifting so it might’ve somewhat low but there’s a big difference in impact from 6-10 and 12+. It’s accumulating with heavy snow now backing down to moderate with smallish flakes. Blowing and drifting all over the place. I noticed BOS had 10.5 about 4 hours ago so I expect the next measurement to be 15+.
  3. Another moderate shift on the gfs and its talking something truly historic.
  4. We're not getting big rates, but the snow growth is excellent right now. Up to 3.9" Snowing at 1.4/-2
  5. If I recall correctly, gfs had this a few days ago - it was the only one - then lost it. Good to see it coming back around
  6. PNA isn’t ideal. It’s all too flat. OTS is the most likely outcome unless models start to amp things out west over the coming days. That 18z euro had a shit load of things go right to have a coastal where it did. Threaded about 3 needles. We shall see. Certainly some better trends today but still a long way to go.
  7. My neighborhood was plowed 3-4 times, but my cul-de-sac was last done at about 2:00 pm. Went out with the dog a little bit ago and my street was a solid pack of 1.5-2” of sleet. The secondary roads were supposedly worked over pretty good, but as of about 4:00 pm the one nearest me was still in pretty bad shape.
  8. Foot plus In eastern NC. Step in the right direction on the GFS
  9. Surprised GFS isn't bombing this thing out more the 500mb isos are insane
  10. Looks like it's trying to curl in toward them
  11. Yea I was just out snow blowing. It’s incredible out. Easily near 20”. Wind is ripping too. Amazing storm.
  12. That mini dryslot filled in quick for eastern areas. Crazy how just when it was lightening up, now it’s completely choking flakes again. This has been a really fun storm.
  13. I was wrong. This mid level band has gone nuts. Fluff factor under this strong lift has been great. Outside of the deeper lift, it’s sand… but in the band, this is fluff.
  14. That's just crazy. The Euro and RGEM were showing 10+ for DCA and Philly for days. The RGEM and Euro had Morris County as all-snow for this event on their runs this morning!! It's been sleet or a mix for 9 hours!!!
  15. We can count this as a positive run. We got a storm in the vicinity at least
  16. 0z GFS was very close. Booms late and hammers eastern NC after some moderate snow over the piedmont.
  17. This is absolutely wild to me. Under 10" makes top 5 for single day snowfall in CMH. Im also surprised PD2 isnt on here. I know in Coshocton county, we got nearly 20" from that one.
  18. yeah looks like more of a NE event if anything.
  19. This has been a pretty constant dumping. Snow is so light it’s just rolling off the roof and piling up at the front door…2015 style. Thinking we’re probably over 20 now.
