  1. Past hour
  2. I had to leave the main thread- you’d think a family member died. I love snow as much as anyone but come on now. It really isn’t the end of the world
  3. I honestly don’t know where Reading is (I don’t mean that snarnikly), but there’s a good chunk of this forum in eastern areas (beaches, etc) that are very much in the game.
  4. Don’t the gfs handle the northern stream better in Nina than the other euro [emoji23]
  5. Definitely needs a little work, but probably not the worst spot this far out.
  6. From left to right, Sunday morning before snow started, Monday morning, Monday at dusk and Tuesday morning.
  7. It had heartbreak written all over it anyway. Even if it did trend west to some degree. Someone was going to get 25 inches while 50 miles away was going to smoke cirrus. Whether it was DC or Winchester. Someone was getting hosed. It was just a matter of who. I'd honestly rather have it be a full miss than to watch a blizzard 50 miles away.
  8. 1.90”-wow. The snow banks resemble an 18” storm because of all the water content.
  9. Hopefully the beach can hold on. I'd love a weekend at the beach.
  10. Early feeling is that this weekend will probably end up one of those “city east” specials we see once a winter. After the hell of trying to shovel out what happened Sunday, would like a small break, then get on with the rest of winter.
  11. Yeah,.it's definitely a miss for Reading, PA
  12. I’d say half of side roads around me haven’t even had a plow come through yet.
  13. Yall are a sad bunch. Ive never seen such a collection of eeyores.
  14. Just counted…. ASH observations registered 39 straight hours of snow. That’s definitely something I probably won’t see again.
  15. Missed the 0z runs, but before I crashed I noticed the wind direction at the lower levels is really cutting off moisture from the gulf and even Atlantic until the system cranks. Seems we’d be relying entirely off the coastal cranking early enough, which is the opposite of the last system that had southwest winds feeding us moisture from the Pacific and the Gulf.
  16. Storms like this are the ones where it becomes very hard to try and figure out the overall feel for the storm rm, because the majority of folks live outside of the potential impact area. It seems to me at least, that even the "bad" or "whiff" scenarios still give most of the Delmarva accumulating snow, so I think we have that in our favor at least.
  17. 15.4" final after the little bit we got last evening.
  18. It was colder at the base of the mountain. Sent from my Pixel 10 Pro using Tapatalk
  19. Hard to believe a miracle shift occurs at 12z. Gotta let this go.
  20. It’s stuck on stormvista and weatherbell you must have exclusive access.
  21. I certainly wouldn't mind, but it would be nice for everyone to get hit, tbh. I'm not greedy, I just don't want rain while others get 2 feet.
