Some pretty positive changes on ensembles overnight regarding NAO tanking after Christmas just before new years.

I'm thinking we warm for the holiday weeks when I have multiple days off. Then, come January, when it's back to regular work weeks, we tank again. It's just my luck...

That's the next step...I haven't determined the when yet but it's getting closer every day

Yes a much needed warmup. I'm sure some on here won't agree. I know it's the holidays where most of us want snow and cold , it sets the tone for the holidays. But i'm sure there will be more winter weather to be had...probably when were ready for spring in the latter part of March.

I am really looking forward to this warm up. In addition to frozen caps and valves in the trailer, we have to deal with an icy ground truth, and salt just won't cut through that much ice because each load puts more water on the ground. The is what we deal with at the loading locations.

The have more pbp on all models. Of course lots of posts get passed over by me. But lots of good folks at Swx for sure! But this place is my home base. Has been for years. .

Yeah, it's a pain and it's always hard to know for sure but some are pretty obvious. I'm just about done, nearly 1k reports across all 3 maps, about 6 hours deep so far. I should have them up within the hour.

Blocking did its job

Not wintery weather but looks like a banger of a cold front Friday morning, heavy rain, T storms possible and very strong winds.

Maybe they left their grass really high? I'm only half kidding. Im sure that there aren't a lot of us with a snow ruler using a snowboard. I also get the sense that there's a fair amount of snow envy out there so I wouldn't be surprised if some people report late after seeing what's in their area and then jack potting themselves. I don't envy you trying to weed out the bullshit measurements but it's appreciated.
