  1. Past hour
  2. Yes we do! I do not think others know how dry it has been up here for the past two summers. Northern Fred Co. would get the rain and the Southern part would not. That being said drove home in that line that just pushed through here. Wow the car was shaking in the wind. I was more on the southern end and got .34”. Still some light rain and thunder but the line shifted North and Downtown Frederick is getting slammed.
  3. In June, many people here were talking about how they had never seen lawns burn out so early. It looked terrible with all the brown grass during the severe drought. I understand your point about too much rain, but we want enough to keep things looking green. As a vegetable gardener, it's always frustrating to me when we don't get enough rain during the spring and summer. You can water all you want and that does keep the plants going, but it's not the same as rain water. I always notice in the spring that the plants in the vegetable garden have a big growth spurt after a good rainfall. That doesn't happen from just watering with the hose during dry periods. As I mentioned, I lost some of the first tomatoes to sunscald in early July due to the combination of extreme heat and extremely dry conditions. Thankfully things turned around over the last month with plenty of rainfall. The vegetable garden is doing great now. Obviously you and I will never agree on this subject, lol.
  4. I picked up .09". Really, and uncannily, these suckers are riding almost the exact same track as yesterday. It's really the Rt. 30 corridor and south that's getting wamboozled right now.
  5. Watching from Mallorca and Pikesville may get clipped.
  6. #GlenBurnietoo should get it's daily flooding and storms later on. I'll hear the thunder and get .03 like always. Lol
  7. I think we will have to wait a few hours... looking back in WV
  8. Nice southeast US type of downpour. Nothing too crazy, but enough for a rain delay of outdoor activities for a bit.
  9. Marginal risk issued for southeast eastern tn today 5% wind .
  10. Mon has some slight miss south stink, tomorrow afternoon looking potentially nice here tho

  12. Just finished mowing the lawn in time.
  13. Gonna be just too far north for me unless that outflow can extend storms further south
  14. Its already wrong. Doesn't have the complex by Harrisburg It does have something but quickly dies out
  15. MDR looks pretty dang active next 10 days. Caribbean is extremely hostile but there looks to be a window over MDR and possibly even north of islands. Could be a situation where anything that forms would have to thread the needle but there may be a path where something gets further west if it tracks north of the islands. Far too soon to tell but the development signal is very high at this point
  16. Some deep thunder in the distance along with a breeze. Starting to see the rain over the Catoctins now.
  17. Light rain under the yellows here. S of the turnpike wins again.
  18. Another storm in Frederick was the only option.
  19. Holy moly Rich!!! A day you won't forget soon. Marietta borough runs a little over a mile along the river. There was a 3" difference in amounts from northwest to southeast. I live just over a mile west of Marietta and my total (1.94") lines up well with the northwest top of town.
  20. Heavy rain! Making up for the whiff yesterday.
  21. HRRR has nothing, but we know that's a wildly inconsistent model. It'll be interesting to see if there's some widely scattered activity later.
  22. Yall see the NWS confirmed a tornado in Graham County as well as Madison County.
