Realistically, other than some elevated dews the back was broken towards the end of July.

I don’t see any chilly BN autumn pattern modeled. Pac typhoons moving west never translates cool in east.Looks normal at worst to slightly above. Nothing like last September

Not saying cold and BN, but those summer temps and dews are losing persistence. Doesn’t mean we can’t torch for a day or two here and there. 
This week had a chance, but WF and ridge runners will ruin it. Labor Day weekend looks cool and then we are well into September.

Perfect weather day.   74/51F.  Great vis.

Drought situation.  Assuming we don't get a shower tomorrow night the grand August total is 1.66".  For July it was 1.64".  Amazingly dry.  Thankfully we did get .80" on August 23rd.  In my general area I know Brian has been extremely dry too.  He got a nice thunderstorm a little while back that I missed.  Brian,  what is your total for July and August?

That was a slow, long summer.  Time to move on and quickly rip through fall/winter.  Already almost Christmas!

Well I mean we aren’t going to rip 85-95 into and thru Septorcher, but it sure seems and looks overall like an endless summer type deal with 75-85 many days. Last year people were getting into cold and frosts already. Nothing like that thru mid month

Can confirm.  It was brisk up in Bretton Woods this morning.  The season's do be a'changin'.  Swamp maples starting to change up there.  Slightest hint of color on the hills.  Some poor moose got taken down just beyond Alex's driveway.  Massive female on the side of the road up there - amazing that there wasn't any other signs of damage from a vehicle.

Celebrated our anniversary with a full moon dinner atop Bretton Woods but the clouds had other plans   Maybe next time...

Well said. I'm sure some up North will be lighting kindling soon.. but down this way the muggy meter is still rocking.  I think many will be taken off guard when dews return..
