Yup...quite warm and humid will be the consistent theme well into the second half of the month with some days of average to slightly below average temps and low humidity mixed in when fronts go through. Should also remain active with convective chances

Another very humid pattern begins next week

No early end to summer this year

It’s always laughable when peeps are so quick to write just this season off early when we still have the months of Septorcher, Dewtober, Mowvember and of course Grinchtember to come!

Anyone noticing the sun and sky look a little off today? I’m betting we’re getting a little smoke or haze mixed in with this airmass from the west. It’s kind of reminding me of what we had in mid July but to a much lesser extent.

Yeah there’s been some light smoke and haze aloft the past few days.

Ok so it’s not just my imagination then lol. I wonder how much this low level crap adds to the humidity or perhaps it creates the opposite affect?

It is a little counterintuitive.

Always nice to someone taking the time to look up something they’re not quite sure of, instead of just posting bullshit wives tales or wish casting.

Kudos to you sir!

Last summer was the first time in recent memory that we basically turned the page August 1. It was strange but lasted for a while as we know.

Nothing like that this summer.

nino summers torch second half of september into october

Down with that.  Torch in September and October, nothing like July.  Usually short lived but enjoyable.

A warm start to fall isn’t a bad way to live at all in New England. Now, if November is a torch…

As expected, the cluster of showers/storms is rapidly weakening and falling apart on approach.

At this point in the season for tobacco, any rain is bad.

Simple and to the point.

I'll even take November. After that is when I start getting pissed off.
