Both Spain and Argentina are the most obnoxious Spanish speaking countries on the planet - but they are both pretty awesome places to visit.  It's tough.  BA is an incredible, incredible city.  Patagonia, Mendoza, the wine, the Andes mountains.  But in Spain you have Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, just tons of beautiful cities.  The food in both places is so so good.  Both populations think they are they are God's gift to the world.  It's a tough call.

I would feel a little bit better if the Red Sox hadn't suddenly awoken and won 12 in a row. That said the AL is so pathetic the Os can stay in the hunt as long as they keep pushing towards and then past 500. I honestly don't think they can though. Too many holes. Ofc Elias will try to fill them in an attempt to save his skin, and will likely set this team back even further. He is a gaslighting turd.

Just don’t get swept in Boston and 4-2 to start the second half is great. But they have a tough schedule the rest of the way. They’ll have to earn it, even with the soft AL.

Some key injuries aren't helping an already precarious situation. Both catchers are having health issues and ofc Blaze is out for an extended period. The pitching has been solid lately so lets see if that continues. Fun to watch Mayo bash long homeruns whenever a pitcher makes a mistake, but otherwise he is an easy out lol. He will probably hit 20 HRs with a batting avg of .195 because there are so many shitty pitchers.

A focus on the "three true outcomes" - walk, strikeout or home run. It's led to guys swinging for the fences or getting on base with walks or striking out a ton.

Not giving me hope in the slightest...we know who this team is--and there has been a good deal of luck involved (especially yesterday and Friday( I did not see enough to convince me they're suddenly getting better. And not ot mention we may need to play Boston with Adley and Basallo less than 100% if available, smh This team cannot have good things--everytime something good happens, some negative (typically in the form of an injury) has to happen. 7-game winning streak, extended Bradish...then boom catching duo both injured. That bad "luck" element I put on Elias...I don’t think that will change until he's outta here, lol

they were just so quick - the opposing team could never really string together a possession long enough to pose much of a threat.

I hope that TD2 now in the Gulf of Mexico tracks west right into south central Texas then gets stuck about 40 miles SW of Buda, then proceeds to pull in feeder bands of torrential training rains in off the Gulf for days. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU CONSIDER HARDLY ANY MEANINGFUL GROUND DRYING WILL HAVE A CHANCE! Already, I have seen water catchment depressions carrying water all over the landscape!!!!!!!!!!!

So we did Trap pond. Saw that we could do a tour through the Bald Head Cypresses. Mr. J is quite fair skinned and it worked good for shaded waterways. But also seeing the Cypress up here was lovely! Even saw a beaver up close.

too cool! Trap pond is excellent for that type of sightseeing. I believe it is also the furthest north occurrence of cypress trees. I think we are pretty lucky in the relative abundance of wildlife we still have in this area. I get to see deer in my park at least a few times a month, and there is a groundhog up the street, as well as multitudes of very bad squirrels and a diverse variety of bird.
