Temps stayed in the mid/upper 70's yesterday. Point has backed off the heat for the weekend. Screw the heat, just bring some good stms

Temps in the mid/upper 70's again yesterday. Stms petered out as they moved E. They did get decent rain to the N & W tho. As the heat builds this weekend. Looks like the Lake will help keep things a little cooler. Point has upper 80's for me, but that cast hasn't been reliable. Inland areas may get there.

As expected. Highs hovering around 80 in the area. Point fail.

Point had us up to 94 today, low stratus hung around a lot longer than expected and we briefly topped out at 86.

Sioux City ASOS site hit 83 degree dewpoint earlier this evening, and hit 119 for heat index.  Tremendous pool of 80+ degree dews  from southwest MN down into northeastern KS.

Rapid City, SD set their all time record high temperature at both its recording stations today with records going back to 1888.

Had us up to the mid-80s, but only topped out at 80 here. Expected to be up to 86 tomorrow, though TWC/Wunderground is conservative with 81 due to anticipated stratus and solid cloud cover to finish the weekend.

Cloudy morning. Suppose to be sunny today with stms tonight. Heat adv out. DLH is under Heat warning. Yesterday was 80 with a 70 dew. Muggy, but comfortable. We'll see if it warms more today. Point has 82.

Dewpoint mixed out into the mid 60s so we had easy today even with a high of 98.

This is as high as the dew point ever gets around here.  It's only 83 here.

Had a great day here of 29C/84F started overcast here too then it broke at 130pm. No rain or storms as shown by some - I think smoke is moving in this eve that was a close call! I was forest bathing and breathing in deeply after that nightmare 2 weeks ago.

Dew is up to 80 in Rockford and 76 here.

From an Evansville, IN, pro-met 

These were the observations at Evansville, IN for 4-5-6pm on July 26, 2026.

The dew point readings were 80-80 and 81.

The 81 deg. F dewpoint tied the record for highest dew point in history at this location. It happened on 4 previous occasions.

Peaked 85/76/95 here in town today. Muggy! Cloudy most of the day, but when the sun did peak out temp jumped. Midday, then again during the evening. Some shwrs/stms passed thru, but not much fell.
