Sunny now, but still very breezy in central MA.  This wind today has been stronger than I normally see during the average t-storm.

North of MA border looks feisty!  Really impressive main line of storms, but not sure how much of this makes it into Central / Eastern MA.

The line looks mostly boring up here, but there is that little wind max that traces back to E NY that is poised to pass just N of here. I’m enjoying the rain at least.

And another (just south of North Sutton) looks like it will pass south of you.

Looks like it’s aiming for center Sanbornton. Probably won’t see too much on my cam.

It was rotating.

Looks like it had a brief blow up there on velocity before it weakened again.

We tried to take out the Tilton Market Basket. Maybe next time

mi casa is where storms go to die, but it is eerily quiet out there right now after being pretty windy earlier. hatches are battened down just in case, and yes, I am trying my best to stay safe

Hoping that cell over Agawam perks up but not doing much so far.

The line of thunderstorms moved through the Newfound Lake area of NH was not big deal. The storm was of very short duration.  My peak wind gust on my 10M anemometer was 30mph.  Very briefly I had a rain rate of 7.25".  Total rainfall with the thunderstorm was .23".    We got .40" in rain earier today....

This is a timelapse looking SW as the storm passed.  A few claps of thunder.  Also if you slow down my video you can really see how the wind creates small vortices when it comes around terrain.  Looks like a brief spin up as it moves across the field but it is not!

I can literally feel these updrafts going up around me. Getting dark all around me

Unfortunately I was unable to chase today, but I will certainly go after anything that approaches my area in coastal CT. Not that much is expected down here but man do those hodos look spicy for the Northeast. I went to the store about an hour ago and walking to my car it was windy and cool, didn't feel at all like a severe day. OK, I get it, lapse rates are gonna suck as they always do, and low cape was progged... But when I came out of the store 45 minutes later the sun was beating down and it was hot and humid, suddenly it felt like severe was back on the table even to the coast. Still doubt anything gets near me, but anything even remotely isolated that goes up in this kind of shear is gonna spin, and yeah even the line will have embedded spinups. Don't think I've ever seen hodos this good in a warm season setup in the Northeast, ever. That definitely gets my attention.
