PrinceFrederickWx
I never took my snowboard up through this entire heatwave. I have a feeling this one’s going to get us on the board somehow.

Nomz
In accordance with tradition from another weather community I'm in, I'm committing to a salt bet: If DCA reports 0.1" or more of accumulated snow, I will eat a tablespoon of salt.

NorthArlington101
NAMs and FV3 are as nice as you could hope. I’d just like it to rip for an hour or two. That would be sweet. Anything else that could happen is gravy 2

peribonca
Does anyone know the warmest day on record where DC received an inch of snow? I'm still at 80F down here in Colonial Beach. Tonight into tomorrow is going to be dynamic and fascinating regardless if the snow sticks. Might turn this B winter into an A-

PhiEaglesfan712
Come on, you all know it really isn't going to snow this far south. This isn't New England. There is no cold air, the ground is too warm, and the sun angle is way too strong.

It doesn't normally snow in DC or Virginia in mid-March, much less following 80-degree days. The sun angle is just too strong. You need something really special, like the Storm of the Century in 1993, for it to snow at this time of year. We don't have that right now. baltosquid
snow depth is of course lower.

Some moderate/heavy snow in DC around 12pm. Will be interesting to see if it happens with temps so warm right now.

Not so much if you live in Atlantic City. Don't come around here talking about dwindling snow prospects when you're batting .150 at a time when it is BY FAR THE EASIEST to predict warm snowless winters and be right. Nobody's gonna call you an oracle when you're saying snow won't stick the day after it hits 85 degrees.

DCA is still 78F
