There's going to be some 6" - 10" reports from under this band if it can hold in place for an hour or two. Obviously elevation will help, even 100 feet or so, but this is going to lead to some decent jackpots. What an incredible event this is!

Finally the long sought-after IVT Snowband. Hope you guys get smashed with a lot of snows!

This is without a doubt the worst storm I have experienced since 2010. Whiteout conditions currently. Couldn't even take video or pictures. Impossible to measure what's accumulated, but easily over 8-10" so far. Winds continue to howl. Can hear cracking trees in the distance. Snow accumulating on vertical surfaces.

I wish that system would just STALL but good. Really throw those torrential snowbands right up there! Pile that snow right up. Kind of like Mammoth-esque. STALL the fook right out, for days and days as that TROWAL just piled snow right up, to Day After Tomorrow depths!

callin it 4.5". there's probably more like 5-5.5" but i can't bother to get up and measure it, plus its still snowing. if i wake up in the morning and i measure more than 4.5", i'll go with that. otherwise, keeping it conservative.

How deep? You need to jebwalk BAD in all that deep snow! C'Mon DL, I wanna know how deep that fresh snowpack is! I know its wild as heck out there but we snow weenies back in the western Mid Atlantic and in Texas want to know how deep that snow is! Let's see a jebwalk trail in that deep snow! We wanna eyeball the depth! Don't you dare slantstick it either!

lol. it didnt make it onshore into central DE. would've surpassed a foot within an hour or two, but already at 10" anyway. good enough

I've been keeping an eye on radar throughout the night. Was amazing to see Delaware getting dumped on non-stop. Storm has been slowly and steadily pulling away for a while now. Probably just flurries by daybreak.
