Well, that was before this blizzard....no one will whine after this.

If I get six or eight inches and everyone around me is 18 plus I will do my best not to complain but I will be a little bummed

I just want to see the crazy rates and lightning and have a huge pack. Later this week looks more wet than white here.

This right here says something about this winter. A month later and still a fair amount of snow cover right on the water heading towards the end of February. SSTS must be so cold too.

My BIL lives in N Plymouth right on the water. I was there last Monday and he had like 15” there. That’s not common.

He Did!!  Just backing you up.

And I don’t know what to say guys.  I’m honestly Shaking.  Shaking off Happiness.  This is THE GREATEST Storm I’ve ever tracked.  How many models and outputs Not made in My or Ray or Tip’s basement are giving me 30”-36”.  NWS 10% Map to NPM to the Model Blend Map to the SREF.  It’s Absolutely Astounding.  Absolutely.  Astonishing.

In terms of History vs. just snow numbers Forecast, this has a Meaningful Chance to be Top 10 All-Time in Northern RI, and a Worthy Chance to be Top 3 All-Time.  :cory:

36" and every tree blown down in your yard. Congrats! What a monster.

3ft depths will be common come Tuesday for many..and the drifts will be insane. Should be wetter snow here so maybe not as drifty as 05/15

If the perfect banding, after ALL these 24-36 model runs and maps goes 25 miles to my NW I Will lose it.  Happens in Every Storm.  Not This One.  Please.

How conservative? Seems to have done well as of late.

Just shows less precip than other models, but mid levels looked good for SNE.

This storm is bombing and has convection. Models will probably not have a great handle on precip so I expect some disagreements.

We locked. We loaded.  We all cherish. We all enjoy.  SNE at its finest starting in about 6 hours.

I hope it doesn't happen to in you. I lived through it many times and its brutal. Seriously dude..,you are in a really good location and I could see you not being able to see across your street for hours tomorrow. Do you have an idea of what your pack is back home?

It’s just going to finally be more in line with other models.

I thought the euro AI looked a bit further south and east but who knows. Also, I’m not sure that’s the right model this close to game time. We just have to hope for the rogue band and a little push north. Zero would truly be laugh worthy.

You prob don’t want the rotting band if you’re in SE areas because you don’t want to miss the convection t being entrained into the CCB. They’ll be a relative jackpot west with wherever the band pivots but there will be another with the Firehose of convective snows hitting SE areas…they’ll get their own bands taking their time to leave later in the storm too, but the stuff very early tomorrow morning could be epic there.
