I threw out 20 pounds of native wildflower mix on the public lands there. It's absolutely awesome. I go there every evening during the spring and summer to just look at wildflowers. Oh please do let me know if you have any good wildflower hikes to go on. I've done the Bull Run Bluebells but otherwise just know about the Mountain Laurels across Shenandoah and WV. Got some hikes I've done in the winter (namely Cranberry wilderness) that I can't wait to do in the spring. Also have a patch of wild daffodils out next to a path near my house. Just hundreds of them.

Nice enough where you can comfortably wear no jacket but not so warm where it starts feeling uncomfortable.

Where are they going to be located, if I may ask? Also, gotta find a time to meet for lunch one day and chat meteorology and learn more about the Mesonet program. I was actually shadowed by a student at UMD this past Friday that knows you. She was incredibly bright and has interest in WPC. Small world!!

I can't speak for @wxmeddler, but as one of the project folks I'm always down for a beer or six and chatting weather, mesonet, etc.
fujiwara79
I prefer a cold March ala March 1960 or March 2018. And a summer like 1816 would be amazing.
Alfoman
12Z GFS is a straight firehose with temps and liquid from March 6th through 12th...brings like 9-12 inches of rain from the SE thru the Ohio Valley during that time. Honestly looking forward to a nice change in pace! Although I'm afraid the Cherry Blossoms are going to come out early this year only to be killed off but a random week of chill. WxUSAF
Always need to be cautious of BDCFs in early spring. But guidance seems consistent keeping us in the warm sector. Torchy torch starting next Thursday afternoon.
