There was a time when the Euro model was the king..  the most accurate...  But lately...this winter especially. The euro model has been horrible..   idk what's going on with that model but it's been very inaccurate.

AIFS median was a horrific drop, though. Won’t post since there are minors but DCA went from a median of like 5.5” down to 2”

In light of the other operational models having a storm along with both AI's, I don't believe the Euro is that much better in light of the fails it's had over recent years. JI, or anyone else, can run into a corner, crawl up into a ball, and rock back and forth incessantly if he/she wants, but there's going to be a storm. And it will drop 10"+ somewhere, exact location tbd imho.

Negative PNA AND NEUTRAL NAO means wiff for the a big nor’easter. We were already threading the needle with this setup, we don’t do well with that and I’m pretty sure I can count on one hand the last 20 years when we have. The current pattern doesn’t support the last 2 days of nonsense the day to day runs have been showing. But most in here are gullible and refuse to except it’s not happening.

Eh, gotta see the data to see how much to weigh that type of median change.  I think it would be more fruitful to take the interquartile range and get the average from that, so there’s no outliers skewing things.
