Coming down at a pretty good clip right now. Actually surprised!  15 miles NE of Greensbor

Under brief heavier returns, total change in flake size. Had some massive dendrites falling. Temp down to 27.5°.

Besides one pesky 5 minute interval, CLT has been observing light snow for an hour so far, since 3:40.

I also think you'll be fine. It's always like throwing darts where the heavier bands setup but you should get 6+ I would think.

Eclipsed 0.25" here about 10 minutes ago. It's really coming down out there, even under lighter returns now. Much bigger flakes. I think it's certainly safe to say the DGZ has already started deepening, and is certainly saturating!

Returns NE of Charlotte still hanging on as they continue moving towards Greensboro/Raleigh. HRRR doesn't have them making it all the way there quite yet (dries them up around Randolph County), but perhaps it will be wrong.

Watching those returns like a hawk. Could be a hunch but if those survive through to mby (Burlington/Alamance co) then I feel a lot better about avoiding the dry slot here. It’s gonna be close.

fwiw. Noticed light snow around 11:30pm, few hours of sleep and woke up to light snow around 4:30 and going now. Very little (dusting) accumulation thus far.

Snowing just SW of CLT at my location even under no radar returns... starting see the snow glow in both directions from the street lights in CLT and Rock Hill

Frontogenesis will fill this in nicely by daybreak down 85 from Salisbury to GSP

22.8/21- Started snowing at 3 o'clock working on a little over an inch at this point.

Does not seem the column needed very much to saturate to have snow hit the ground. Dewpoints have been high and RH was 75% last night in Advance. Air not anywhere as dry as it was for last week's storm .

Good luck everyone. It's been snowing here since yesterday morning late. Roads didn't cave until sunset and the 40 minute drive home wasn't fun. Temp 15 with a Dp of 12 and 1.5 inches on the board.
