They are getting ratios that we typically get in SWFE…being not as deep into the arctic airmass.

I’m heading to Jiminy Peak in a bit. Our morning adaptive ski lessons are on (I’m sn instructor) . Afternoon lessons are canceled. I have to balance powder ski runs with not crashing on the way home. Gonna be tough deciding when to leave! Virga here so far around Albany. 4.8F.

I think it's more of a function of earlier start time as the amount of sleet is still the same?

Seems like the northern extent of it did tick a little north. Don’t think it affects his area. Might affect places like PYM-EWB but prob not a game-changer in the overall scheme of the storm. An hour or two earlier could cost them a couple inches.

Not saying that will translate directly but just noting it came in a bit less than what they were expecting down there.

If we should get 12:1 with the thump and higher toward the end I won't be complaining.

Looking around at overnight guidance I would say during the meat of the snow the ratios are probably around 14:1 to 17:1 average and outside of the meat of the snow they will be closer to 10:1.

Maybe..these things cam fluctuate right to the end. Let's see what HRRR does going forward. Still expect sleet here but hoping to make it to 11pm or so

In order to beat the snow, my plan is to leave from PVD to Pit2 at 8:15 and that I'd outrun it the whole time.  I don't want to drive in the snow.  Looks like that should work.

Yeah I’m hoping all snow but I wouldn’t be shocked at a few pings as lift moves out.

Visibility dropped quick steady snow 7.7 degrees .. Took 50 minutes from first flakes to steady snow..
