The coastal is down to 29.80. Still off the nc/va border. It might go to a mix but.. all that precip behind will go back to snow,if the primary starts weakening which is looking like it. Still too close to call for nyc. We might not be done snowing even if it mixes.

8" in Edison just as sleet had started.  Snow started about 4:30-4:45; measurement taken about 1:30...so 8" in 9 hours.

A little frustrating that we're not getting a truly big snowstorm due to the change to sleet, but we saw the warning signs a couple days ago. Still a very nice storm. I'll sign up for 8 inches of snow and 1 to 2 inches of sleet anyday.

1:45 and heaviest snow of the event so far.  Expect to mix / change here within the next 30 min or so.

My buddy in Mt. Laurel changed to sleet at 11:30 and measured 5.8" at change time.

To me a monster snowstorm is more like a foot and a half to 2 feet. 12 inches is a big snowstorm but far from historic. I got 8 inches here before the change to sleet.
