Hurricane Agnes
I am getting a lot of blowing and drifting and had a 1ft drift up against the top of my step going down to the patio. I did an 11 am measurement from the board and have 4" so I know I lost some from the drift (my back faces NE). Thankfully it was easy to move it away from the step with my car "SnoBrum" and also clear the board. Currently SN, fog, and 13, with dp 11. It's wild looking at the CC because it is forming that warm wave just like the NAM predicted! 1 hour ago, JTA66 said: I was thinking about using the leaf blower too. 10F/DP 7F Do we have to go all the way back to PDII or the ‘96 storm the last time we had snow at these temps? I had mentioned how the '96 storm held in the low 20s (IIRC ~23F) through the duration (and this is much colder). I also used to have co-workers from Chicago who used to pooh-pooh our whining about shoveling back then because they could just get a regular broom to brush off the car and use a leaf blower to blow the stuff off the walks. Now 30 years later, they have learned what "wet snow" is like.

21chuck
A mix of light to moderate snow and sleet in south philly. 6.0" on the dot. I see some reports of plain snow in Baltimore SW of this heavy band. Maybe a temporary switch back is possible?

It was a Sunday as well.

Fields27
7.1" as of 11:30 in Reading. Guessing we have another hour or so of this amazing high ratio heavy snow before we mix. Would love double digits but I think sleet screws us on that. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk

The changeover is here, should be a wintry mix for the rest of the storm. Possibility of some rain this evening.
MattMal88
Still puking snow in NE Philly. Did my 1st rd of shoveling and have over an inch where I started before I got done in less than an hr. CC radar looks weird. Sleet to the west and WNW of me but still all snow and heavy here. Measured 5 inches before I started shoveling, has to be over 6 now. This thump is pretty sweet.

Chadzachadam
Sleet now in NW Philly. Looks like 7.5 or 8” which is good enough for me. Could’ve been historic but the thump delivered
LVLion77
Man that sleet line came charging north. I still think it makes all the way to Blue Mountain, perhaps gets into the southern Poconos. Never doubt a still primary low coming up the Appalachians. Always a changeover, no matter what the surface temps are..
