January 25-26 Winter Storm Potential

Sleet lines on the move but models really held the snow on a bit longer at the coast. Gonna wait until it’s on my doorstep for 1 last jeb walk but as of 8:45 I had 5 1-/2” and it’s been coming down good since.

Still hanging onto Snow here in Newark Delaware, but Im thinking maybe 30 mins to an hour and we are sleeting. Reports down at APG of sleet and snow mix, which is 70 miles SW of Philadelphia. 30 miles SW of me.

Okay, noted. Snowboard around the block has 5". I'm near Blackwood. Northern Washington Twp.

The NAM had snow starting in about 15 minutes. No wonder totals were so low on there, it forgot about like 5 hours of snow!

Can't recall snow ever doing this on my deck. Usually it fills in the gaps between the boards andbuilds as a solid layer. This stuff is so dry and powdery though, it almost looks like sand.

Fv3  has snow hanging on here til 4pm but then by 9PM plain rain. Feel like the plain rain line is inevitable now for SE PA. Going to be a mess in the AM when it all refreezes. Possible worst case scenario

Although it may be closest on the totals here.  I don't even have 5 inches yet and the sleet is 32 miles away at this point.

Changeover looks way earlier than forecasted. I hope it gets beaten down near Vineland for a few hours otherwise we'll be low on snow totals.

I was thinking about using the leaf blower too.

I hope the sleet holds till 12 but that might be wishful thinking. Looks like moderate snow now

Definitely some of the finest, lightest snow I've seen.  Looks like white dust falling.

Still snow here. Intense at times.  What do you guys call it? White smoke!

5.2” in NW Philly. Even another couple hours of this and we hit or exceed expectations. Still not buying ZR or plain rain getting up this far, sleet line is coming north but the ZR and 32F lines are not

Of note still snowing on the beach at Sea Isle City...
