lol.  Do currently have a mix of drizzle and tiny flakes with a random large flake here and there.

This map is about as perfect as one can get for the precip type I'm experiencing.

Snow has picked back up here. Still light but no longer just flurries.

Radar building across Delmarva and most of the Delaware/Maryland mesonet obs show a NW wind now. Looks like precip should be picking up in intensity for the southern NJ folks here within the hour.

I would suspect heavier bursts of snow as the colder drier air mixes with all this low level moisture left around.

Light snow now in South Jersey, maybe still some rain mixed in

Got maybe 1/4" on top of the inch, from a band that had been sitting over me but now down to snizzle with fine flakes, a temp of 33 with dp of 32, and lots of melting going on.  Total 1.25" for the day so far and 2.75" for the 2-day event.

The coastal is sitting off the coast of VA.
