For NEXT Sunday Here’s the 6z GFS showing an all day high ratio cold powder snow event with a 1040 High sitting in Ontario delivering the cold while a moisture laden storm approaches from the southwest & exits to our south & east.

Looks like good rates at MDT with .5 mile visibility for the last half an hour.

 It looked like flakes falling, but by the time I got my suit on and got outside  I was maybe just shy of a quarter inch  Of what seems a very soft grauple.

Snow is about done here it appears. I’d measure but it’s melting off pavement already - def less than .25”.

Now I officially have 8.7 “ deficient of snow this year. That would be a pretty nice size storm.

9am Obs: 30/28 with moderate, to at times heavy, snow. Closing in on an inch. Beautiful.

Travel advisory 78 shut down at exit 40 Berks county MVA with multiple tractor trailers and entrapment

Rough east to west gradient out there. No snow on grass at 581/81. Main roads are dry everywhere around HBG - secondary roads have melting somehow.. Still .1” or so at home on the driveway.

Radar looks to be filling in a bit to the west with that tail end band out towards Altoona. Hopefully it picks back up a little later this morning.

Just seen that, maybe theres hope to get a little more on top of the 1/4 inch that fell before dawn.
